MARIO FERREIRA
Mario, originally from Boston, moved to Utah in 2004, drawn by its renowned skiing and small-town charm. A co-founder of Silver Mountain Interiors in 2022 with Carid, Mario has built a reputation as a transformative figure in luxury design, blending creativity, strategic insight, and meticulous craftsmanship.
Mario’s career began as Operations Manager for a boutique design firm in Colorado and Park City, where he excelled in managing complex projects. In 2009, he became Director of Business Development at a premier design firm, driving its growth and industry standing. His leadership and attention to detail have consistently delivered exceptional client satisfaction.
At Silver Mountain Interiors, Mario aims to redefine luxury design with bespoke solutions that reflect client visions while upholding the highest standards. His projects embody sophistication, artistry, and flawless execution.
Outside work, Mario enjoys life with his husband of 40 years and their dog. Whether golfing, biking, or exploring new destinations, his passion for adventure mirrors his innovative approach to design, always pushing boundaries and elevating experiences.
CARID WUTZKE
Carid’s professional journey from Canada to the forefront of Utah’s interior design industry reflects a commitment to excellence and innovation. After relocating to Utah in 2006 to pursue studies at UVU, he quickly became a forward-thinking entrepreneur by opening a small furniture store in Salt Lake City immediately after graduation.
Carid's leadership role in the industry is underscored by his robust background in partnering with developers across various resort communities. His expert oversight of the design and selection processes for high-end residential properties ensures that each project meets the highest standards of luxury and functionality. His experience in resort communities has provided a solid foundation for his influential role.
In 2022, Carid co-founded Silver Mountain Interiors alongside Mario, bringing together a wealth of expertise and a shared vision for delivering bespoke interior design solutions. Under his leadership, Silver Mountain Interiors has quickly become synonymous with sophistication, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Carid enjoys spending time with his two sons and engaging in various activities, including golfing, sports, shopping, cooking, and travel. These interests not only enrich his personal life but also provide him with fresh perspectives and inspiration that he brings to every project.
